Bob Welke has almost forty years in the advertising industry. Starting as a copywriter free lancing radio spots in Milwaukee, he rose to Chief Creative Officer of Leo Burnett, USA in Chicago. From there he became Chairman and CCO of EuroRSCG Tatham. He recently returned to his Milwaukee roots in partnership with the team of Tom Thiede, Bill Sheahan and Steve Johnstone at Blue Horse. In November of 2005, Bob and the Blue Horse team bought the agency from their Chicago owners. Bob has been a judge at almost every major award show and has an extensive list of clients he has done work for, including Procter & Gamble, General Motors, Sony, Pillsbury, KFC, Midas, Red Lobster and others. Currently, Blue Horse clients include, among others, American Family Insurance, Wal-Mart, U.S. Cellular and Rexnord.
